Meet your re-elected candidates
A call for nominations by petition from qualified members interested in serving on the Dupaco Board of Directors was published in the Fall 2022 Owner’s Manual newsletter and on Dupaco.com. After a thorough evaluation and interview process, members re-elected these candidates:

Andy Schroeder
Treasurer
Mr. Schroeder is Vice President of Digital Services, Prenger Solutions Group in Dubuque. As a resident of Dubuque, he joined the Dupaco board in 2014 and currently serves as Treasurer of the Board, Chair of the Salary Savings Plan Oversight Committee and Chair of the CUSO Board. Mr. Schroeder serves on the Investment/ALM/ALCO committee. Mr. Schroeder’s community involvement includes the Association of Fundraising Professionals of the Greater Tri-States, Carnegie Stout Public Library Foundation Board, Opening Doors Board, Holy Family Catholic Schools, Clarke University Alumni Board, Sisters of Charity, BVM, and Holy Spirit Parish. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and a Master of Business Administration from Clarke University.

Denise Dolan
Director
Ms. Dolan is the retired Dubuque County Auditor. She retired as Dubuque County Treasurer this past November. She joined the Dupaco Board of Directors in 1993, and is completing her tenth, three-year term. Ms. Dolan has served on numerous committees during her years with the board, including four years as board chair. She currently serves as Chair of the Personnel Committee and Vice Chair of the Dupaco R.W. Hoefer Foundation. Denise also serves on the Audit, Business Lending, and Political Action Advisory committees. Ms. Dolan is volunteer Treasurer of the Dubuque County Firefighters Association Capital Fund and is a graduate of Clarke University in Dubuque.

Robert Wethal
Director
Mr. Wethal is Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer for MercyOne Medical Center Dubuque in Dubuque. His medical supervisory experience includes work at hospitals in Greeley, Colorado and Davenport, Iowa. He joined the Dupaco Board of Directors in 2012 and currently serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee. He also serves on the Investment/ALM/ALCO and Audit committees. In the community, Mr. Wethal serves on the board of the Dubuque Museum of Art. He was selected as a 2011 Tri-state Business Times Rising Star. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Clarke University in Dubuque, and a Masters in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University.

Here's how the 2023 Board Election worked
Each year, Dupaco members have the opportunity to participate in Dupaco’s board elections. Dupaco’s trusted partner, Credit Union Executive Society (CUES), helped administer the election. Members were able to request a paper ballot or vote online.
