The Dupaco Foundation Hardship Grant is a one-time financial gift of up to $2,000 for those experiencing an unexpected hardship, such as medical crisis, disaster, or death of a family member.

That’s why Dupaco Foundation sponsors a Hardship Fund—to provide meaningful support when you need it most. Whether you’re facing a medical event, natural disaster or the loss of a loved one, we’re here to help ease the burden.
The Dupaco Foundation Hardship Fund is administered by Emergency Assistance Foundation (EAF)
EAF independently administers all fund activities, including objectively reviewing grant applications and awarding and distributing grants. Dupaco Foundation and Dupaco Credit Union have no visibility into individual applications or grants unless an applicant opts in to share certain details.

Want to apply? Here are the requirements:
- You are a Dupaco member or a joint owner on a Dupaco member account.
- You are at least 18 years of age and applying on behalf of yourself or a dependent.
- You live in the United States.
- You experienced an unexpected event that is causing significant financial hardship:
- Medical crisis
- Disaster (e.g., fire, flood)
- Death of a family member
- Your event occurred within the previous 180 days of the application date.
A limited number of grants are available and are awarded based on available funds and eligibility criteria.
How to apply

Confirm eligibility
- Contact EAF at (866) 756-9039 or dupaco@emergencyassistancefdn.org before starting an application to determine if you are eligible for assistance.
- You should also review the Frequently Asked Questions for specific information regarding which events and expenses qualify for assistance.

Gather documentation
- You’ll need:
- Documentation that confirms the event occurred.
- Documentation that provides the amount of the expense(s).
Hint: Have digital copies of your documentation ready to submit as part of the online application for faster review.

Apply for the grant
The Dupaco Foundation Hardship Fund is administered by Emergency Assistance Foundation. You’ll need to create a username and password to access the grant application.
