MINI MAX
Newer Rides With
Smaller Payments
Dupaco’s Mini Max is a flexible way to drive a newer vehicle with a smaller monthly payment—often up to 40% less than a traditional auto loan. It’s available for new or used vehicles up to 6 calendar years old, with terms from 36 to 72 months and mileage plans based on how much you drive. You can trade in, sell or refinance any time. And when the term ends, you can refinance, trade, sell—or return the vehicle and walk away.
FOR SALE
Repossessed Vehicles for Sale

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What’s the best way to finance a car or motorcycle?
The best option depends on your budget, timeline and how long you plan to keep the vehicle. Auto loans offer predictable monthly payments and long-term ownership, while leasing usually comes with mileage limits and no ownership at the end. For something in-between, Dupaco’s Mini Max offers a lease-like option for both new and used vehicles.
Learn what to consider when deciding whether to lease or finance a car.
-
How do I finance a car for the first time?
Start by understanding what you can comfortably afford each month—not just the sticker price. Be sure to factor in your loan amount, interest, taxes, fees and insurance. It also helps to look for incentives, consider a down payment or trade-in, and get preapproved so you’re not guessing at the dealership.
-
What will my monthly payment be?
Your payment is based on three main things:
- Loan amount: You can reduce it with a larger down payment or trade-in.
- Interest rate (annual percentage rate): This is the rate you pay to borrow. Your credit score and other factors will influence your rate.
- Loan term: Longer terms mean lower payments but more overall interest over time.
You can get a feel for your monthly payments with this calculator.
-
How can I get the best auto loan rate?
Your loan rate will directly affect your monthly payments, so a few smart steps can make a big difference:
- If possible, check your credit and improve it before applying. A free Credit History Lesson could help show you how to build your credit!
- Compare loan options so you know what’s available.
- Get preapproved for a loan so you know your rate and budget upfront.
-
What credit score do I need to get an auto loan at a credit union?
At Dupaco, we believe you’re more than a credit score. And your score is just one piece of the puzzle. Each situation is unique. So, we encourage you to apply, regardless of your credit score (even if you don’t yet have one!). We’ll follow up with you to review your application and talk about next steps.
-
How long does an auto loan approval take?
At Dupaco, we strive for same-day loan decisions during regular business hours. If you’re applying for a Dupaco auto loan at the dealership, we try to provide you with a decision the same day or the next business day.
-
What is auto loan preapproval, and how does it work?
Preapproval lets you find out how much you may be able to borrow—and at what rate—before you choose a vehicle. Your credit is reviewed, but you don’t need to provide details about a specific car yet. Most applications take just a few minutes, there’s no cost to apply and you may get a response right away. If we have questions about your application, we’ll call you before making a decision.
-
I found the car I want—what happens next?
You’re ready to finalize the loan details with your lender! In most cases, paperwork can be completed electronically without a trip to a branch. After everything’s signed, the funds will be transferred into your account so you can complete your purchase and enjoy your new ride.
