Our story started in 1948 when 10 meatpacking employees pooled $5 each. That same spirit of people helping people has grown us into a financially strong cooperative you can count on. Senior Leadership
Using the credit union’s mission to help members build a life worth loving and the board’s insights as guideposts, Dupaco’s senior leadership team helps implement strategic initiatives and keeps the day to day credit union operations running smoothly.
Joseph F. Hearn
President & Chief Executive Officer
Joe Hearn joined Dupaco in 1986 as director of marketing, later promoted to executive vice president. In that role, he oversaw all elements of the credit union’s branding, marketing, and public relations initiatives until 2008, when he transitioned to chief operating officer. He was named president and chief executive officer in 2012.
Lisa Bowers
Chief People Officer
Lisa Bowers joined Dupaco in 2015 with more than 12 years of human resources and organizational development experience. Her expertise includes talent management, organizational development, training, and leadership and management coaching.
Matthew J. Dodds
Chief Operating Officer
Matt Dodds joined Dupaco in 2003 after nine years in consumer lending in Salt Lake City and Denver. He first served as senior vice president of consumer lending, overseeing home equity, auto/RV, indirect lending, merchant financing, and credit cards. In 2012, he became Chief Operating Officer and now works with leaders across Dupaco’s 18 branches and its Consumer Lending, Mortgage Lending, Business Services, and Member Solutions teams.
Steve Ervolino
Chief Information Officer
Steve Ervolino oversees the multi-layered security systems Dupaco uses to protect member financial data, as well as Dupaco’s business continuity plans for IT and operations. He has managed the implementation and support of a wide variety of systems, from the commodity Exchange platform, to complex disaster recovery, virtualization and voice-over-IP systems.
Danielle Gratton
Chief Financial Officer
Danielle Gratton, a certified public accountant (CPA), came to Dupaco in 2006 after working for the prominent accounting firms McGladrey & Pullen LLP in Waterloo, Iowa, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Chicago, Illinois. She is a member of the CUNA CFO Council and CUES, as well as the Iowa Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
David Klavitter
Chief Marketing Officer
David Klavitter rejoined Dupaco in 2009 after working as vice president of editorial communication for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) in Washington, D.C. Prior to CUNA, he was a member of Dupaco’s marketing team from 1996-1999.
Todd Link
Chief Member Services Officer
Todd joined Dupaco in 2014. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, serving in a diverse range of roles. As Chief Member Services Officer, Todd works closely with the credit union’s leadership and Board, overseeing the areas of Card Services, Fraud Services, Deposit Operations, Member Services, Facilities and Post-Loan Quality Control.
