Young Dupaco member strives to lead life of philanthropy

A helpless feeling washed over 11-year-old Lauren Gehl when she learned of the devastation left by hurricanes Harvey and Irma earlier this year.
“I usually watch the news at night, and I hated the helpless feeling I got when I saw all of the hurricane victims and all they had lost,” says Gehl, of Dubuque. “I wished I could help them.”
