Shared Branching

Thanks to a cooperative endeavor, Dupaco members can access face-to-face service at thousands of participating credit union shared branch locations across the nation! Find a shared branching credit union.

What are Shared Branch locations?

Shared branching allows members of participating credit unions to conduct numerous financial transactions as if it were a branch of their own credit union. Shared branching locations offer Dupaco members the ability to:

  • Make deposits (hold limits may apply, please check with your credit union for details)
  • Make cash and check withdrawals (some cash limits may apply, please check with your credit union for details)
  • Make loan payments
  • Make transfers from and to any account
  • Purchase Money Orders and Official Checks
  • Obtain cash advances and balance inquiries

In order to conduct a transaction at a shared branching credit union, first identify the credit union to which you are a member, and be prepared to provide your member number and photo identification.

See the complete listing of shared branch locations at the Shared Branching website.

Dupaco is also a shared branching credit union, meaning members of other, participating credit unions can use select Dupaco credit union locations to transact as well. See the list of Dupaco's shared branching locations.

Why Shared Branching?

At Dupaco, our vision is to serve as our member’s lifetime financial home. Shared branching enhances our ability to fulfill that vision by allowing us to provide extended personal service to all members regardless of where life's journeys may take them. Endeavors such as shared branching exemplify the credit union difference and the benefits of belonging to a financial movement that truly cooperates for the mutual benefit of all members.

Hi John, Dupaco is able to issue cashiers checks through Shared Branching, but policies might vary from credit union to credit union. If you are a Dupaco member going to get a cashier check from another CU via shared branching, we would recommend contacting that CU about their cashier check policies.

Hi Tom, shared branching allows you to bank at another financial as if you were at a Dupaco branch. Therefore, there are no fees associated with it. ATM usage is free to Dupaco members when you use a Dupaco-owned ATM or a Privileged Status ATM. The cash advance fee is 1.5% of the advance.

Hi Pamela, Yes. As long as you know your daughter's credit union name and member number, you should be able to transfer money! Hope this helps.
