Scheduled for the week of May 23 of this year, Small Business Week 2010 will honor the estimated 25 million small businesses in America. Since its establishment in 1963, the highlight of this annual tradition is the presentation of awards which focus on the outstanding contributions of small business persons, champions, lenders and others who support small business at the district, state and national levels.
The U.S. Small Business Administration recently recognized Dupaco Community Credit Union in Dubuque as its 504 First Mortgage Lender of the Year for the state of Iowa during its award ceremonies at the Iowa Smart Conference in Des Moines on May 6, 2009.
