| Nominate a difference-maker through "Heroes of the Tri-States" |

| Details: | The American Red Cross of the Tri-States and Dupaco Community Credit Union are now accepting nominations for honorees to be celebrated at its annual “Heroes of the Tri-States” Breakfast to be held in April.
The breakfast recognizes local residents who have demonstrated courage, compassion, unselfish character and saved lives while performing extraordinary acts of heroism.
Heroism need not involve the direct saving of a life, and there is no limit on when the heroic event took place.
Nomination categories for this year include, but not limited to:
- Health Care Worker
- Professional Responder
- Adult Good Samaritan (18 years and older)
- Youth Good Samaritan (under 18 years)
- Volunteer Community Impact
- Industrial Safety
- Education
- Military
- Animal Rescue
- Fire and Rescue
- Law Enforcement
Nomination forms must be received by February 1, and are available online.
