Becoming a Member

You become a “member” of a credit union (as opposed to a mere “customer” at a traditional bank), because you are actually joining a not-for-profit organization. To be eligible to become a Dupaco member, you must live or work within our charter area, as outlined in the illustration below. To become a member, simply open a savings account with $25 or more. You can even open an account online, right now!

Opening an account at Dupaco is easy and smart, because our members save money (low- and no-fee services and lower loan rates) and make money (high dividends). Like never before! And Dupaco members have access to numerous products and services (even insurance!) and the experts who will help you put them all to good use.

Once a member, always a member
You can retire, change jobs, or move across the country and still remain a member—as long as you keep at least $25 in your savings account. In addition, once you become a member, your immediate family members have automatic eligibility, even if they live or work outside of the counties in our charter area, outlined below.

Who can join?

You are eligible to join Dupaco Community Credit Union if you live or work within our 28-county charter area, illustrated below.
