Equifax cybersecurity breach: What to do next
This week, credit reporting agency Equifax announced a giant cybersecurity breach that may have compromised the personal information of as many as 143 million Americans—almost half the country. According to the Equifax website the company will offer free identity theft protection and credit file monitoring to all U.S. consumers.
You can find information from Equifax and see if your personal information could be impacted at www.equifaxsecurity2017.com.
Because of the large-scale nature of this breach, Dupaco is recommending all members take action immediately to monitor their own financial accounts and monitor their credit reports. Take advantage of the Equifax protections, and those that Dupaco offers.
