Shared Branching

Dupaco may be a tri-state-based community credit union, but thanks to a cooperative endeavor, Dupaco members can access face-to-face service at branch locations across the nation!

Your credit union has an agreement with Credit Union Service Corporation (CUSC), the credit union movement’s largest nationwide shared branching network. This agreement will allow Dupaco members to access Shared Service Center locations across the country. These centers allow members of participating credit unions to conduct numerous financial transactions as if it were a branch of their own credit union. There are nearly 3,000 Shared Service Centers currently located across the United States, all of which now offer Dupaco members the ability to:

• Make deposits (hold limits may apply, please check with your credit union for details)
• Make cash and check withdrawals (some cash limits may apply, please check with your credit union for details)
• Make loan payments
• Make transfers from and to any account
• Purchase Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks, and Official Checks
• Obtain cash advances and balance inquiries

Shared Service Centers across the country can be identified by the prominently displayed Credit Union Service Center “swirl” logo shown to the right. Hours vary by location but are generally open Monday through Saturday. For a complete listing of Service Center locations go to www.cuservicecenter.com.

Dupaco is also a Shared Service Center, meaning members of other participating credit unions can use select Dupaco credit union locations to transact as well! Dupaco locations serving as Shared Services Centers include our Hillcrest and Hy-Vee offices in Dubuque; as well as our Cedar Rapids and Platteville offices.

To conduct a transaction, simply visit any location which displays the Shared Services logo, identify the credit union to which you are a member, and be prepared to show a photo ID. It’s that simple!

Why shared branching? At Dupaco, our vision is to serve as our member’s lifetime financial home. Shared branching enhances our ability to fulfill that vision by allowing us to provide extended personal service to all members regardless of where life’s journeys may take them. In addition, cooperation among credit unions is not a new concept. Over the years, Dupaco has provided area credit unions with depository, check-clearing, and coin services, and worked with them on compliance, training, community, legislative, and loan initiatives. These activities, along with endeavors such as shared branching, further exemplify the credit union difference and the benefits of belonging to a financial movement that truly cooperates for the mutual benefit of all members.

Share the news! Shared Service Center access is available to Dupaco members at over 3,000 branches nationwide!

Disclosure: Some of the above convenient links take you out of the Dupaco website. The credit union does not represent either the third party or the viewer if the two enter into a transaction.
